Students learn how to establish and maintain sustainable landscapes that utilize minimum water, fertilizer, and no pest control chemicals. Students learn how landscaping with native plants is beneficial to the environment by improving soil, providing wildlife habitat, and protecting pollinators. Students propagate plants from seeds in the campus greenhouse for landscaping and agrarian projects. Course may fulfill science, art or elective credits. (up to 3 credits per quarter.)
