Congratulations to Nordhoff's Mock Trial team for making it to the Elite 8 in Ventura County's annual competition.  The Law Rangers toppled powerhouse schools on the trail to the round of the Elite 8 and is the smallest public school remaining in the competition.  Way to go Law Rangers!  Round 'em up.

Congratulations to this week's classes of the week!  Mrs. Hoj would like to recognize her Block 1 Choreography Honors class.  The Choreography Honors students make a GREAT effort every day to be present, on time, to support each other and to have their cameras on. All of this adds up to excellent focus for us as a class. Way to go!  Mr. Buck would like to give another shout out to Philip Heldwein - he's a hard worker with a great attitude.  Ms. Lopez would like to recognize her Block 2 Spanish 1 class.  They have good participation, almost perfect attendance and about 90% of the class turns in homework on time!
Please join Nordhoff Parent Association on Monday, March 1st at 6:30pm for our general meeting. A zoom link will be sent the day of the meeting.  Everyone is welcome to attend, including parents, guardians, teachers, and staff.  We want to hear from you, and would love to see you there!

FAFSA and CADAA (California Dream Act Application) Deadline is March 2nd.  If you have applied (or will be applying) to college, make sure to submit your FAFSA or CADAA before the deadline!

There are two new and exciting opportunities through Green Valley Project (The C.R.E.W.); a paid Internship and The Pax Environmental Science Institute.  Please contact Ms. Beebe ASAP ( if you're interested for more information and how to apply.  The deadlines are 3/9 and 3/17 respectfully.
Students who are taking AP Psychology, AP U.S. History, AP Physics and/or AP Government this spring can now register for AP exams without paying a late fee by emailing Ms. Escobar. The deadline to register for one of these exams is March 5th. No registrations will be accepted after that date. If you have already purchased an exam for one of these classes no further action is required. 
Registration for current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will happen in March. Students and parents will have the opportunity to watch a presentation containing all the information required to make course selections for next school year. Students will be emailed personalized information from their counselor and a link to an online registration form. Each student will have a scheduled zoom appt to meet with their counselor and review the registration form and ask questions. 
Attention Prospective Baseball Players:
Practices are currently held at 3pm - 4:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday on the Varsity Field. Bring a dish towel (for arm exercises)  and running shoes. 
In order to participate you must be cleared through the athletic office. 
Senior Swag: Seniors, if you were unable to pick up your yard sign, tshirt and treat bag, you may pick it up at the library window. The window is open from 8:00am to 2:30pm (closed for lunch from 12-1).
