INTRODUCTION TO AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY

This course provides students with a general knowledge of the automobile. Students focus on theory and operation, automotive components such as battery and electrical systems, fuel, carburetion, and fuel-injection, brake systems, cooling systems, suspension systems and purchasing and selling an automobile. See course catalog for more information.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY 1 ROP

This course prepares the student for entry-level employment in many occupational areas of automobile service. Topics of study include; electrical systems, general automotive electronics, fuel systems, brakes, cooling systems, emissions controls, steering, and suspension.
