Dear Ranger community,
We are piloting a change to our parking lot with the goal of improving traffic flow. When school resumes on Monday, Nov. 29, the parking lot will transition to a one-way flow. The driveway closest to the stadium will be entrance-only, which is wide enough to accommodate right hand and left hand turns simultaneously. The driveway near the trolley stop will be exit-only, which will allow for both left and right hand turns.
In addition to painting the entrance-only and exit-only driveways, we will restripe the parking spots in our junior and senior preferred parking spaces. These spaces, which are closest to Maricopa Highway, will be flipped 180 degrees so those spaces will now face the exit-only driveway.
If our goal of improving traffic flow does not improve with this change, we will change back to our current flow and go back to the drawing board over the winter break.
Please be patient with this change and provide some grace for everyone to adapt to the change.
