Summit School
Student and Parent Profile
How much academic work is required weekly: Students in Summit School are likely to spend 15-20 hours for Tk-5th and 20 to 30 hours a week for 6th - 12th engaged in course study. They are also required to attend appointments once a week with their teacher. They may attend other on site sessions for academic support as well. Students
Students who miss more than 20% of their assignments in a week will have a meeting with their teacher and the principal to determine if the student and/or parents need additional support in order to be successful and/or whether or not independent study or homeschool is the right learning option for that student.
