OUSD Enrollment information
Thank you for your interest in Ojai Unified School District schools, where we embrace the deeply-held values of environmental regeneration, wellness, creativity and a culture of inclusion.
Although there has been discussion at the state level of beginning the new academic year in July, there has been no alteration to existing school calendars. Currently, the first day of school for the Fall 2020 semester remains August 19, 2020.
To streamline the enrollment process, we've provided an overview of each of our schools, as well as a list of necessary documents and an online registration form, below.
Please submit one form per student.

A Place To Grow Preschool is is an inclusion preschool program that embodies the values, policies, and practices that support the right of every child and his/her family, regardless of ability, to participate in a broad range of activities. The desired results of inclusive experiences for children with and without disabilities and their families include a sense of belonging and membership, positive social relationships and friendships, and development and learning to reach one's full potential. Meiners Oaks Elementary School
Located at 400 South Lomita Avenue, Meiners Oaks Elementary is a traditional TK - 5th grade school nestled between the residential neighborhood of Meiners Oaks and the Meadow Preserve. Mira Monte Elementary School
Located at 1216 Loma Drive, in the heart of the Mira Monte community, Mira Monte Elementary is a traditional TK - 5th grade school and averages enrollment of about 300 students annually. San Antonio Elementary School

Topa Topa Elementary School

Matilija Middle School is a traditional 6th- 8th middle school, located in the Arbolada neighborhood at 703 El Paseo Road, with an average enrollment of 400 students. Nordhoff and Matilija students also have the option of taking independent study courses through Nordhoff Online and Matilija Online.

OUSD INDEPENDENT LEARNING OPTIONS
Summit School is a non-classroom based program for TK/K-12th grades. The learning program offered at Summit School is individualized for each student, with parent and teacher collaboration, using a possible combination of online learning, project-based activities and traditional curriculum. The majority of work is done through a homeschool/independent study model.
A partnership between OUSD and Rock Tree Sky school, an educational enrichment program, allows students who are enrolled in Summit School an opportunity to attend enrichment classes two days a week at Rock Tree Sky School at no cost.
