Blue hair day, tomorrow! Please send your child to school with washable blue hair or with a note giving permission for us to add the blue.

Sports Jersey Day is Friday, April 19. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite sports jersey/t-shirt (pick your favorite team, sport, player, or make your own)

State testing dates:

3rd and 4th (English language arts and math) - May 13-21

5th (science) - May 23 & 24

5th and 6th (English language arts and Math) - May 28 - Jun 4

Please do not plan trips or appointments on these dates. Students do not perform as well on these assessments if we have to schedule them on a separate date. Thanks!

Thank you, parents, who drove for our Museum of Tolerance field trip! We had a total of 23 drivers! Amazing trip!

We are still looking for parent volunteers who are interested in helping with a bike train from the Barbara Street tract to Mira Monte School during the week of May 13 to 17. Please contact the school if you are interested. The coalition is hoping to place parents at the intersections so they can help students safely cross the intersections at the highways.

We are also still looking for a parent or a team of parents willing to take on the responsibility of the end of the year Mira Monte School Family Campout next year. The parent or team of parents would need to shadow Jeri Washburn this year so they know what is involved. Please let us know if you are interested. Planning for this year’s event will begin soon.

The free “NO I WON’T AND YOU CAN’T MAKE ME!” Effectively Dealing with Power Struggles has been rescheduled to April 23 at 6:00pm. Childcare and Spanish translation will be available.
